We have a FREE clinic for employees on the District's health insurance. One clinic located in Glenwood Springs and another located in Rifle offer medical care for employees and dependents on the plan at no cost. Other clinics in Colorado, including Gypsum, also offer free medical care for employees on our insurance plan.
In addition to the benefits provided by PERA, the District offers additional compensation at retirement for those who have 15 or more years of service. Employees with 15 or more years of service can chose between 3 options that would increase their payout at the time of retirement.
